Honda Jazz coming to India

Honda is going to launch the Jazz in the premium hatchback segment. This would directly compete with Suzuki Swift and the Hyundai Getz.

An international car magazine Top Gear rated Jazz as Number 1 while the Swift was rated at Number 3.

The Jazz is also expected to provide a better mileages than both the Getz and the Swift and will be priced slightly higher.

Honda worldwide carries a reputation of reliability, they are one of the top car manufacturers. The Hondy City has also been very popular in India and people have to wait 2-3 months to get delivery. Their service levels are top notch and the mileage is hard to beat.

Suzuki which was earlier capitalising on the popularity of Swift with a waiting of 6 months is now finally increasing their production. Guess they had to do this once Honda saw an opportunity in this segement.

I am eagerly waiting for the launch of the HONDA JAZZ. All Honda stable cars till today do command a high level of respect and value. The name HONDA itself inspires a great deal of adrenaline and confidence !! Before SWIFT increases its production and improves its delivery schedules, HONDA should quickly step in with the JAZZ and kill all competition & break the virtual monopoly of Maruti.
