Now Linux is going to power a Boeing Aircraft

Often people have doubt if Linux can manage mission critical applications. Beoing is going to run their Aircraft Networking equipment! Now what could be more mission critical?
And in another related news: NASA testing Linux robots which is going to explore the surface of Moon and Mars!

I have read that GNU/Linux is used on the in-flight entertainment system of Kingfisher Airlines, and one more Indian carrier whose name I can not recall. Audi and Saab do their designs on GNU/Linux systems.
