If I could re-write Linux

I wrote an article titled If I could re-write Linux for Newsforge. The response was overwhelming, over a 100 comments and most of them negative! Rather than being critical, I would have appreciated if people said how they would re-write if they had too.

Well, the reason for you getting all the brickbats is your lack of knowledge about the subject.
If you thought using buzzwords and some technical utterances would satisfy the community, you are so lame! After reading the article one gets the idea that you tried to impress the people by writing such an article and you thought it was kool. But you were so wrong. It’s just a piece of crap that is. Check what Bruce Perens had to say. In short, you gave Indians a really bad name. It’s such a shame …
